LA MEJOR GALLETA DE MANTEQUILLA PARA DECORAR
- 420 gr. Harina.
- 225 gr. Azúcar.
- 225 gr. Mantequilla.
- 1 Huevo.
- 12 gr. de Levadura.
- 5 ml Extracto de Vainilla.
Preparación:
Precalentar el horno a 170ºC. En un bol, mezclar la harina y la levadura. En otro bol batir la mantequilla y el azúcar. Añadir el huevo y el extracto y batir bien. Añadir, la mezcla de harina y levadura poco a poco. Mezclar con las manos. En una superficie enharinada poner la mezcla y aplanar con el amasador. Cortar la masa con los corta pastas. Dejar enfríar en la nevera durante 5 minutos y poner en horno durante 12 minutos. Una vez hechas las galletas dejar que reposen durante 5 minutos en la bandeja de horno. Una vez frías, sacar. ¡Listas para decorar!!!

2 tsp baking powder
1 c sugar (I use sugar that I've stored vanilla beans in)
2 sticks (salted) butter, cold
1 egg
3/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp pure almond extract
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350.
Combine the flour and baking powder, set aside. Cream the sugar and butter. Add the egg and extracts and mix. Gradually add the flour mixture and beat just until combined, scraping down the bowl, especially the bottom.
The dough will be crumbly, so knead it together with your hands as you scoop it out of the bowl for rolling (video on University of Cookie).
Roll onto a floured surface and cut into shapes. Place on parchment lined baking sheets (I recommend freezing the cut out shape on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before baking) and bake for 10-12 minutes. Let sit a few minutes on the sheet, then transfer to a cooling rack.

VIDEO at UNIVERSITY OF COOKIE Ingredienti: - 375 gr. farina-225 gr. zucchero-227 gr. burro-1 uovo-12 gr di lievito-5 ml vaniglia.
Preparazione: Preriscaldare il forno a 170 °C. In una ciotola mescolare la farina e il lievito. In un'altra ciotola sbattete il burro e lo zucchero. Aggiungere l'uovo ed estrarre e mantecare bene. Aggiungere la farina e il lievito miscela gradualmente. Mescolare con le mani. Su una superficie infarinata mettere il composto ed appiattire con il amasador. Tagliare la pasta con la pasta corta. Lasciare raffreddato in frigorifero per 5 minuti e mettere in forno per 12 minuti. Una volta fatto cookies lasciarlo riposare per 5 minuti in teglia. Una volta fredda, rimuovere. Pronto per decorare!!
